Our Mission is simple, to create a nation-wide "Mens Spiritual Health Network". Although the mission is simple the implementation of our vision is more complicated The Twelve Projects are designed to foster the necessary mindset required to become a changing force in the life of the believer. we believe a strong male figure reconnecting to his source will produce strong household and even stronger communities. Mission
Project One Exercise One: Spend five minutes a day in private meditation by listening to God. This first step requires that you learn to quiet your mind and just listen for five minutes. Mastering this process will be the launching point for developing a deeper and richer relationship with the Father. Five minutes a day, five days a week until you can achieve the desired results. (Note) you can also use a word like faith or trust and maybe focus on a scripture during your mediation. Write down the words or responses given to you. Project One Exercise Two: After the completion of project one exercise one, you can then move on to exercise two which is developing trust. You can go for a walk or go for a ride in the car. As you progress in your journey without a destination, you will inquire of the Holy Spirit whether to turn left or right, to speed up or to slow down to change lanes or the stay your course. Repeat this until you're sure you are confident you are being guided by Him, for as long as it takes. Write down the results of each trip and what was your final destination.
Project I
Project Two: Exercise One Know thyself. This exercise requires you first to write down everything that you are. For example, I would write: father, brother, son, writer, speaker, salesman, pastor, etc.… Write down as many things that you can think of including occupations, hobbies, and your past and present state of mind. The next step is to put a circle around the things that you believe you are good at. The final step is to separate the list into two groups; the one on the left are the things that you are not so good at, and the one on the right will be the things that you are really good at doing or being. Project Two: Exercise Two Using the list from Exercise One, take the list of things you are not so good at and write out a couple of sentences for each one explaining how you could improve and move them over to the side of becoming something you are really good at. Now when you are finished you can see and imagine you performing and accomplishing perfection in those areas that many of you are replaying in your mind over and over. Anytime you find yourself remembering your past, or in the midst of a current situation, you can edit out the bad parts of the past and rewrite your part with your updated performance.
Project II
Project Three Exercise One: In the first exercise, we will examine and personalize God’s love to us. Anytime I hear or read the promises of God in the bible towards man or Israel, I personalize it and replace them with my name...for instance in John 3:17 reads “God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. But I read it as “God sent his Son into the world not to judge Willie, but to save me through himself. Find 2 or 3 of your favorite verses in the bible and personalize them. Rehearse them a few times until it becomes natural to recite them that way. Project Three Exercise Two: Now in the second exercise, we focus on improving our level of relating with and hearing from God. The true nature of these exercises is designed to instigate a form of behavioral modification where we are opening or improving our spiritual pathways. This exercise is designed to increase the time we spend in fellowship with God. Let’s start by examining and writing down who God is and what he brings to the relationship. What are the benefits of an increased relationship with God? Contemplate what you need to do to increase that relationship. Project III
Project Four Exercise One: The first step is to identify areas of our lives that we consider and have labeled as a failure. Write them down on a clean sheet of paper. Write as many as you can think of. Step two is to look at each item on the list and meditate on each of them and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how He was involved in them. Ask Him to show you what he did to turn that issue into a stepping stone for your good and His glory? The third and final step will be the most difficult. This step requires you to identify the part that you played in each scenario and apply God’s grace to yourself and offer forgiveness to yourself and to anyone who may have participated in that issue.
Project IV
Project Five Exercise One: I want you to see yourself the way God sees you; apply as many attributes as you possibly can, like He sees you as healed, as the head and not the tail, etc... Project Five Exercise Two: Make a chart showing a before and after picture of what you looked like before the blood and then on the opposite side make a list or show what you look like after the blood. Project Five Exercise Three: And in the third and final area, do the same chart for your children or your loved ones, looking at the areas where they are weak and broken, and then applying the peace of God to reconstruct them in His image.
Project V
Project Six Exercise One: You will need to make a list of everything that you are responsible for and anything that worries you. Don’t be shy or make excuses, be honest and open with yourself. Remember that God knows each and every item before you list it on the paper. The key is to shed as much light into the dark places within your heart. List them in order of importance or in order of annoyance. Project Six Exercise Two: Taking the top five of your list, imagine presenting each of them to the Lord. Present to Him what it is, why it has come to this point, and why you are casting it unto Him and make the ceremony as grand and pomp as you wish. Continue this method until you have exhausted your list. For some of you, this exercise may take a few minutes and some may take a few days, weeks or months…no rush or pressure here, you are amongst friends. When this lesson is complete, you will become a care casting ninja. You will find yourself affecting those around you. Your family and friends will begin to see the transformation before you notice it.
Project VI
Project Seven Exercise One: Describe the time when you felt you were at your weakest point. Write down that experience, noting where you were, and the circumstances which surrounded that situation. Describe what it felt like and how you dealt with it. Project Seven Exercise Two: Describe what you would need to do to change the way you felt and the way you dealt with your weakest moment. Reverse engineer the first exercise and apply grace to your weakness and see the results of being filled with grace to the point of overflow.
Project VII
Project Eight Exercise One Bring your life back to good by answering the above questions. Project Eight Exercise Two What would be the most important area you need to bring restoration to first? Project Eight Exercise Three Describe what, if any actions will need to be done by you and what actions will you need help?
Project VIII
Project Ten Exercise One: Identify the areas in your life where you can prove the fruit of the spirit is at work. List every area including those which are a work in progress. Project Ten Exercise Two: List all areas that you are currently struggling in. Identify how you can employ the “fruits” to weed out those things you are desperate to get rid of.
Project X
Project Nine Exercise One: Exercise one requires you to write who, what, when and where you are inspired. What if anything inspires you the most? How are you inspired? Recall any details which can lead to your inspiration. See if there are any patterns present. Project Nine Exercise Two: Exercise two would like you to remember the last time you were an inspiration to someone else. Apply the same questions as in exercise one, who, what, when, where and how were you an inspiration to others.
Project IX
Project Eleven Exercise One: Describe what it would be like to have your Eden here on earth. What would each day be like? How would you spend your time and who would you spend it with? Don't worry about how much it would cost to create it because in this exercise you have an unlimited budget. Project Eleven Exercise Two: Describe what things would need to be repaired in your life to have Eden in your life Project Eleven Exercise Three: Describe what things need to be restored in order to have Eden in your life. Project XI
Project Twelve Exercise One: Ask yourself these questions, what have I achieved or received from my place of worship other than a closer walk with my friends or fellow worshippers? Am I codependent on the church to maintain my relationship with God? These are important questions looking for an answer. Write down everything you believe you will truly lose by cutting the cord from your local church? Imagine you are on an island with God, write down what you would say and do? Project XII
